Countersink Angles

Choose the angle that matches your fastener specification

82°

82° Countersink

The most common countersink angle. Standard for flat-head machine screws (ANSI/ASME B18.6.3). Use this when working with standard flat-head fasteners.

  • Flat-head machine screws
  • General-purpose flush mounting
  • Most standard fastener applications

Available on top or bottom side of the material

90°

90° Countersink

Used for metric flat-head screws (DIN 965 / ISO 10642) and some specialized aerospace fasteners. Choose this when your hardware specifies a 90° seat.

  • Metric DIN 965 flat-head screws
  • Aerospace fasteners
  • European standard hardware

Available on top or bottom side of the material

Why Choose Countersinking?

Countersinks give you flush, professional fastener installations.

Flush Fasteners

Screw heads sit flush with the surface, eliminating snag points and allowing parts to stack or mate cleanly.

Clean Aesthetic

Countersunk fasteners create a smooth, professional appearance on visible surfaces.

Standard Angles

82° and 90° options cover ANSI, DIN, and ISO flat-head screw standards.

Both Sides Supported

Place countersinks on the top or bottom of your part depending on your assembly needs.
