We offer a few different finishing options ranging from as-cut as our fastest option to a variety of powder coat colors for a more finished look

Available Finishes

As Cut
Parts ship directly from cutting with no additional finishing. This is the fastest and lowest-cost option.
Lead time: No additional lead time
- May have minor surface scratches from handling and cutting
- Can have sharp edges and burrs along cut lines and holes
- Best for prototypes, internal parts, or when post-processing in-house
Deburring
Deburring runs parts through a brush or wheel system to knock down burrs and sharp edges produced during cutting.
Lead time: Adds 1 day to production
- Removes sharp edges and burrs on flat surfaces and holes
- May be required for assemblies where internal edges affect fit-up
Limits apply to the flat (unfolded) pattern of the part, not the final bent geometry.

Tumbling
Tumbling places parts in a vibratory bowl with abrasive media. The motion smooths edges and produces a uniform surface texture.
Lead time: Adds 1 day to production
- Uniform finish on all sides, including hard-to-reach areas
- Best for small to medium parts that fit the tumbler
- Slightly softens corners — not ideal for tight tolerance edges
Limits apply to the flat (unfolded) pattern of the part, not the final bent geometry.

Powder Coating
A durable colored finish baked on at high temperature. Adds corrosion resistance and hides minor surface marks.
